Welcome to Handwritten's educational corner. From leading poetry sessions in middle schools to letter-writing workshops in elementary schools, from consulting for journalists to leading workshops for faculty & staff on the science, theory, and history of handwriting, we do it all. If you'd like us to visit your classroom, be in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org. Currently, we have two educational initiatives we are wild about: Write Now, a digital-based hand-learning curriculum created in collaboration with creative writing guru Karen Benke (see website here), which will be launching to schools nationwide in Fall 2017; and To Whom It Should Concern, a student-powered program in collaboration with The Bell Podcast and The New York Public Library, which is a rotating series that gives students the stage to deliver testimony about their experiences and insight into the issues they're facing in the New York City public education system. You can see more information on each below, as well as some of the student-focused work we have published.
